Carriage ride through a Florida Forest.

Florida isn't all Beaches and Palm Trees in this area. We met someone at the RV Park, that winters by the Goethe State Forest. They have friends with horses and Carriages. So, they invited some of us over for a Carriage ride through the Forest and neighboring area, along with supper. It was a lot of Fun! Here are some pictures of that day.

Happy Groundhogs Day!!

Surprise!!! I am blogging!! Not a lot, just a little. We are in Florida, for the winter. We only have 2 months left, out of our 6 here. Time is going soooo fast!!! Here are a few pics that I have taken.

On our way to Florida

We stopped a couple of days by Gatlinburg TN and a couple of days in Savanah GA. on our way back to Florida.

That wasn't our original plan, but that's the way it worked out. Jello plans you know!

Gatlinburg area was interesting. We took a gondola up into the Smoky Mountains. Very beautiful! We sampled 10 different flavors of moonshine, tasty! There were a lot of little shops and a pancake restaurant on every corner, don't know why.

Savannah is a very fun place,a lot of history. We 1st visited Tybee Island, just east. Nice beaches, but no dogs allowed.

Toby, Tucker and Luxi were not happy.

We took a Trolley tour of Savannah and learned a lot about the area. We checked out Ft McAllister, too. It's an old Civil War fort. Vel was in heaven with all of the history.
